Basketball Game Preview: Lighthouse College Prep Academy Lions vs. Lake Central Indians

The Lighthouse College Prep Academy Lions will take on the Lake Central Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Wednesday, Lighthouse College Prep Academy came up short against Harlan and fell 55-43.

Meanwhile, Lake Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a blow against Portage, falling 77-49. While losing is never fun, Lake Central can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 245th, while Portage is ranked 57th).

Lighthouse College Prep Academy will need focus on slowing down Zachary Greene, one of several Lake Central players who made an impact when they last played. He went 6 for 15 en route to 12 points. Greene also put up two blocks, which werehis first of the season. Another player making a difference was Spencer Gail, who posted eight points.

Lake Central's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Lighthouse College Prep Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.

Lighthouse College Prep Academy suffered a grim 58-34 defeat to Lake Central in their previous matchup back in December of 2019.
