Football Game Recap: Scappoose vs. Astoria

Scappoose was the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. Everything went their way against Astoria on Friday as they made off with a 27-0 win. That result is just more of the same for Scappoose, who also won the last time these teams played.

Senior Connor Mcnabb, who rushed for 154 yards and 1 touchdown, was a major factor in the success. This was the first game for both teams, giving Scappoose a 1-0 record and starting Astoria off at 0-1.

Next week, Scappoose take on Forest Grove at 7:00 PM. Astoria will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Stayton at 7:00 PM.
