At the plate, Piedmont got a massive performance out of A Emmert, who went 4-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. The dominant performance gave Emmert a new career-high in hits. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Cassady, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-5.
El Reno's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-7. As for Piedmont, their record is now 17-4.
