Recap: Keswick Christian Crusaders vs. Tampa Prep Terrapins
The Keswick Christian Crusaders pushed their score all the way to 58 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Tampa Prep by a score of 61-58. Keswick Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
When it comes to explaining why Keswick Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Robyn Cantwell. Despite the final result, she scored 22 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals. Cantwell has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Ava Graham, who scored 16 points along with 3 steals.
Tampa Prep's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gabby Bush, who scored 22 points. The matchup was Bush's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kimora Green, who scored 16 points.
Keswick Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Tampa Prep, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
Keswick Christian will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Calvary Christian at 6:00 p.m. on December 11th. Calvary Christian will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. Tampa Prep will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Land O' Lakes at 5:00 p.m. on December 19th.
