Soccer Recap: Maury Gets the Win

Maury kept a clean sheet against Nandua on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Warriors, sneaking past 1-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Maury were the better team in the second half.

The victory made it two in a row for Maury and bumps their season record up to 4-3. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matches. As for Nandua, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-2.

Looking ahead, Maury will face off against Norcom at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Nandua, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Windsor at 6:30 p.m. on the 22nd.
