Softball Game Preview: Charlotte Catholic Cougars vs. Covenant Day Lions

A feisty cat fight will be fought as Charlotte Catholic Cougars face off against Covenant Day Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Charlotte Catholic has given up an average of 8.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Covenant Day was the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over Sun Valley. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won three games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Covenant Day's victory bumped their record up to 3-1-1. As for Charlotte Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
