Football Recap: Belen Eagles vs. Valley Vikings
Belen's game on Thursday was all tied up 13-13 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against the Valley Vikings by a score of 31-20. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 33-7 loss the Vikings walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2023.
Jasode Harris went supernova for Belen, rushing for 101 yards and a touchdown on only five carries. The dominant performance gave Harris a new career-high in rushing yards.
Belen was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 303 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Valley only rushed for 100.
