Basketball Recap: Kayla Cellura Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Solon

Twinsburg hadn't done well against Solon recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Twinsburg Tigers came out on top against the Solon Comets by a score of 52-44. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 87th, while the Comets are ranked 416th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Twinsburg's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kayla Cellura, who went 6 for 13 on her way to 18 points and seven boards. Taylor Dye was another key player, putting up 13 points.
