Baboquivari and Valley Union are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Warriors will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against the Blue Devils at 3:45 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Having struggled with four losses in a row, Baboquivari turned things around against San Carlos on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Braves with a sharp 13-1 victory.

Siwdag Garcia was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over six innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one triple.
In other batting news, Kyler Baptisto was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 3-for-3. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 1.2 stolen bases per game. Ezekiel Hendricks was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Valley Union sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over Fort Thomas on Monday. The Blue Devils haven't had any issues with the Apaches recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
Like Baboquivari, Valley Union also got a great game from a two-way player: Dylan Mitchell. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run but no hits. Valley Union is undefeated when Mitchell allows one or fewer hits, but 1-2 otherwise. Mitchell was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.
Mitchell wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Moroney Flores, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Valley Union's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Baboquivari, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.
