Hall is 8-1 against Riverdale since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Red Devils will face off against the Rams at 4:30 p.m. Riverdale took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Hall, who comes in off a win.

Hall will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Saturday, then bounced right back against Princeton on Monday. The Red Devils put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 10-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Red Devils, who have now won eight games by six runs or more so far this season.

Mercer County hit Riverdale with a six-run fifth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Rams fell just short of the Golden Eagles by a score of 9-8.

Tyler Nadolson stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: he went a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple and two RBI. Cooper Desseyn was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Riverdale's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Hall, their win bumped their record up to 14-10.

Hall beat Riverdale 10-5 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Devils since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
