Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sudan). They blew past the New Deal Lions 21-8 on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won ten games by seven runs or more so far this season.
The team relied heavily on Andrea Williams, who went 4-for-5 with one home run, five runs, and six RBI. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniella Ramirez, who went a perfect 5-for-5 with four RBI, one run, and one double.
