Volleyball Recap: Centennial Takes a Loss

Centennial suffered their biggest loss since April 17, 2024 on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Santiago Sharks. The defeat continues a trend for the Huskies in their meetings with the Sharks: they've now lost nine in a row.

While Centennial ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-17, 25-20.

Centennial suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 8-7. As for Santiago, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Centennial will host Norco at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Santiago, they will welcome Claremont at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
