Woodruff is a perfect 3-0 against Greer Middle College since September of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Wolverines will take on the Blazers at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Woodruff and 27 for Greer Middle College dating back to last season.

Woodruff is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest defeat since October 30, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against Broome, falling 3-0.

While Woodruff ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-22, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Greer Middle College lost 3-0 to Chapman on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-5, 25-17.

Woodruff's loss dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Greer Middle College, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.

Woodruff was able to grind out a solid win over Greer Middle College in their previous matchup back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolverines since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
