Lynden Christian strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on the Lakeside Eagles with a sharp 45-21 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Lyncs' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 20th, while the Eagles are ranked 85th).

Lynden Christian's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Lakeside, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Lynden Christian will face off against Blaine at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Lyncs their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Lakeside, they will square off against Freeman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Scotties' defense has only allowed 12.8 points per game this season, so the Eagles' offense will have their work cut out for them.
