Maize posted their biggest win since January 7th on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Salina Central Mustangs as the Maize Eagles made off with a 69-43 victory. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Maize got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Brayden Myovela out in front who went 7-for-9 on his way to 15 points in addition to six rebounds and five assists. Myovela also grabbed three steals, which is notable because Maize is undefeated when he posts at least three steals, but 3-5 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Ty Willits, who went 7-for-10 en route to 21 points.

Myovela wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Maize was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Salina Central only posted eight assists.

Despite the loss, Salina Central still got an impressive performance from Kaden Snyder, who went 5-for-12 to rack up 14 points. Grant Ostmeyer was another key player, putting up seven points.
