Soccer Recap: Glass Falls Short Against Ranked Jamestown

Glass faced Jamestown in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Hilltoppers fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty seven goals in the game before, Glass' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Glass moved to 13-3-1 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak. As for Jamestown, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2-1 record this season.

Glass will challenge Jefferson Forest at 5:30 p.m. on June 2. Jefferson Forest will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Glass surely won't give up without a fight. Jamestown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
