Softball Recap: Port Chester Comes Up Short

After flying high against Poughkeepsie on Thursday, Port Chester came back down to earth. The Rams came up short against the Sleepy Hollow Horsemen on Friday, falling 21-7. The loss continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Horsemen: they've now lost three in a row.

Tamara Correia made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

Port Chester's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Sleepy Hollow, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Port Chester will challenge Blind Brook at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Sleepy Hollow, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Ardsley at 4:30 p.m. on May 7.
