Basketball Recap: Monterey Trail Mustangs vs. Lodi Flames

Monterey Trail won the last time they faced Lodi and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Mustangs walked away with an 81-73 victory over the Flames.

Monterey Trail found their leader in freshman Juleeyan Williams, who dropped a double-double with 37 points and ten boards. Jaylen Williams was another key player, putting up 14 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.

Monterey Trail was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They racked up six more assists than Lodi's also-impressive total of ten.

Several Flames players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sean Tetz, who posted 13 points and six boards. Drew Tetz also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.
