Cypress Creek dropped down to 4-3 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Mitchell Mustangs by a score of 51-49. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Coyotes have suffered since January 28th.

Several Coyotes players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Micah Jarvis, who posted eight points and seven boards. Devin Suggs also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

As for Mitchell, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-4. The victory continues a trend for them in their matchups with Cypress Creek: they've now won six in a row.

Tristan Woodroof was his usual excellent self, going 11-for-14 to rack up 31 points and eight rebounds. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Zack Harrington, who had eight points and 12 boards.

Cypress Creek has already played their next matchup, a 71-49 win against Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate on the 8th. As for Mitchell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 70-61 defeat against River Ridge on the 6th.
