Soccer Recap: Hershey Takes a Loss

Hershey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lower Dauphin Falcons. While losing is never fun, Hershey can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 328th, while Lower Dauphin are ranked 48th).

Hershey's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Lower Dauphin, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2.

Looking ahead, Hershey will face off against Palmyra at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lower Dauphin, they will square off against Northern York at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Northern York's defense has only allowed 0.2 goals per game this season, so Lower Dauphin's offense will have their work cut out for them.
