Basketball Recap: Mount Calvary Christian's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Mount Calvary Christian had won four straight games and Josiah Masters did his part to make it five on Friday. The Mount Calvary Christian Chargers walked away with a 58-51 win over West Shore Christian Academy thanks in part to Masters, who went 12 of 17 en route to 29 points along with six rebounds and four steals. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2024.

Mount Calvary Christian's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for West Shore Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Covenant Christian Academy the next time they take the court. Mount Calvary Christian will host Covenant Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, while West Shore Christian Academy will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
