Volleyball Recap: Ste. Genevieve Extends Winning Streak to Two

Ste. Genevieve won the last time they faced Central and Lilah Nix did her part to make sure it happened again. The Dragons put the hurt on the Rebels with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday thanks in part to Nix, who had 20 digs and two assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

The win made it two in a row for Ste. Genevieve and bumps their season record up to 16-9-1. As for Central, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-16.

Ste. Genevieve wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Valley on the 14th. As for Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Winona on the 11th.
