Basketball Recap: Chanute Takes a Loss

Chanute lost against Ottawa back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Chanute Blue Comets took a blow against the Ottawa Cyclones, falling 66-26.

Chanute's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Ottawa, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chanute will be home for the holidays to greet Girard at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ottawa, they will host Paola on Tuesday. Ottawa is facing Paola at the right time seeing as Paola is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
