Basketball Recap: Inter-Lakes Comes Up Short

Inter-Lakes was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost to the Moultonborough Academy Panthers at home by a 47-29 margin. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lakers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 37-12 on January 13th.

When it comes to explaining why Inter-Lakes lost, don't look at Riley Anderson. Despite the final result, she almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten boards. Anderson has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last four times she's played. Ana Brown also deserves some recognition as she grabbed her first steal of the season.

Inter-Lakes' defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Moultonborough Academy, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-4.

Inter-Lakes will square off against Gilford at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Moultonborough Academy, they will take on Lin-Wood at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
