Basketball Recap: Evant Takes a Loss

Evant lost against Cherokee back in February of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Evant Elks were dealt a 61-26 loss at the hands of the Cherokee Indians. The Elks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Evant's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Cherokee, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Evant wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 43-24 victory against Santa Anna on the 14th. As for Cherokee, they will be home for the holidays to greet Brookesmith at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
