East Henderson gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 62-23 victory over the Chase Trojans. The squad ran away with 50 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the win.

Jaylin Brewer was a one-man wrecking crew as he shot 73% from the field en route to 18 points and five assists. That's the most assists he has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Zayden Jones, who had 11 points.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: East Henderson was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Chase only posted one.

Despite the loss, Chase still got an impressive performance from Sawyer Waugh, who earned three points.

East Henderson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 53-49 defeat against Hendersonville on the 19th. Chase has also already played their next matchup (against Polk County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
