Softball Recap: River View Wins Going Away Against Asotin

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Tuesday. River View blew past Asotin 18-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for River View.

The team relied heavily on Danika Koch, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Courtney Morris, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3.

River View was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .515. Their batting average was a full 0 higher than the also-impressive .381 that Asotin posted.

River View's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: River View beat Asotin by a score of 22-4 later that day.
