Basketball Game Preview: Cardinal O'Hara Lions vs. Lansdale Catholic Crusaders

The Cardinal O'Hara Lions will challenge the Lansdale Catholic Crusaders at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lansdale Catholic took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Cardinal O'Hara, who comes in off a win.

While Cardinal O'Hara didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Archbishop Carroll on Sunday, sneaking past 67-64. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Lions have posted since December 5, 2024.

Lansdale Catholic has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They had to suffer through a 80-47 loss at the hands of Roman Catholic. While losing is never fun, the Crusaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 93rd, while the Cahillite are ranked first).

Lansdale Catholic's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4. As for Cardinal O'Hara, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2.
