Baseball Game Preview: Carlisle County Comets vs. Paducah Tilghman Blue Tornado

Carlisle County is 0-8 against Paducah Tilghman since March of 2016 but things could change on Thursday. The Comets will host the Blue Tornado at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Carlisle County came up short against Graves County and fell 6-3. That's two games in a row now that the Comets have lost by exactly three runs.

Carlisle County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Myles Fourshee, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Paducah Tilghman's offense. They came up short against McCracken County on Tuesday, falling 12-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Blue Tornado have suffered since March 28th.

Carlisle County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Paducah Tilghman, their loss dropped their record down to 10-10.
