St. Michael won the last time they faced Tara and things went their way on Friday too. The Warriors claimed a resounding 42-8 victory over the Trojans. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Warriors' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana football rankings (they are ranked 111th, while the Trojans are ranked 295th).

St. Michael has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 41.5 points this season. As for Tara, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. St. Michael is set to square off against their familiar foe Istrouma at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Tara will take on rival Brusly at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
