Softball Recap: King George Foxes vs. Spotsylvania Knights
There's no place like home for King George, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Spotsylvania Knights by a score of 7-2 on Friday. The Foxes haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Kelsea Minter made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in May of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with one home run. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.
In other batting news, Paige Headley was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs and two doubles. Natalee Creveling was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double.
