Basketball Recap: St. Mary's vs. St. Boniface Catholic Classical
St. Mary scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat St. Boniface Catholic Classical 89-29 at home. That 60 point margin sets a new team best for St. Mary's this season.
St. Mary's had a senior duo take command as Evan Hodge scored 23 points along with eight rebounds and seven assists and Taylor Darnell scored 18 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Another player making a difference was John Brogan, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
St. Mary's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for St. Boniface Catholic Classical, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
St. Mary's will head out on the road to face off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Boniface Catholic Classical will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on the at 6:30 p.m. on February 13th.
