Hopi extended their winning streak to three on Saturday, bumping their season record up to 7-11 in the process. They walked away with a 16-13 win over the Pinon Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-5 on Saturday.

As for Pinon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-8. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games.

For Pinon's part, Kenneth Willie was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. The Eagles are 7-3 when Willie posts two or more runs, but 4-5 otherwise.

Hopi didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 14-8 victory against Monument Valley on the 28th. Pinon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
