Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Serena). They never let the Indian Creek Timberwolves get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Huskers in their matchups with the Timberwolves: they've now won eight in a row.

Not much got past Beau Raikes, who gave up just a hit and racked up 14 Ks to keep Indian Creek off the board. Raikes has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in eight consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Nolan Muffler was a standout: he got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Serena is 2-1 when Muffler posts two or more runs, but 3-9 otherwise. Tucker Whiteaker was another key player, going 2-for-4 with five RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

Serena's record now sits at 5-10. As for Indian Creek, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.

Looking ahead, Serena will head out to challenge St. Francis at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Indian Creek, they will host Ashton-Franklin Center at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
