Hamilton scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 70-69 to the Biggs Wolverines. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (56), the Braves still had to take the loss.

Hamilton lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Kayden Strong, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. The game was Strong's third in a row with at least 15 points. Case Porter was another key player, putting up 23 points.

Biggs' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Skyler Long led the charge by dropping a double-double on 15 points and 11 boards. Long is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down ten or more in the last ten games he's played. Another player making a difference was Brady Smith, who went 9 of 21 en route to 24 points and six assists.

Hamilton has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points over those games. As for Biggs, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Hamilton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 49-29 win against Williams on the 7th. As for Biggs, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 74-61 defeat against Portola on the 6th.
