Volleyball Recap: Horizon Honors Eagles vs. North Valley Christian Academy Lions
Horizon Honors was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the North Valley Christian Academy Lions. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2022.
Jillian Housh paced Horizon Honors' offense, picking up four kills. Housh got some help from Harper Vanderwall and her eight assists. Makayla Aaron controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Horizon Honors' defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for North Valley Christian Academy, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-4.
Horizon Honors didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against ALA - West Foothills on the 6th. As for North Valley Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Phoenix Country Day on the 6th.
