A Season-Best Effort from Domenik Fuentes Leads Cleveland over Chatsworth

Domenik Fuentes produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Cleveland to the win on Thursday. Fuentes rushed for 97 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, and also threw for 147 yards and a touchdown.

Cleveland now has a winning record of 4-3. Fuentes and Cleveland are taking a road trip to challenge Birmingham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Matthew Mondragon Turns in Another Game with at Least Six Total Tackles

Cleveland was led to victory by Matthew Mondragon, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. Mondragon wasn't messing around, picking up four sacks and making nine total tackles (7.0 for loss). The game was his third straight with six or more total tackles dating back to last season.

On the season, Mondragon has averaged 6.3 total tackles per game and for the season has 5.5 sacks. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he had one sack.

Garner Came Up Big in Taft's 40-21 Defeat

While Taft might've come up empty on Thursday, Dakota Garner wasn't going down without a fight. Despite the defeat, Garner was still balling out as he rushed for 33 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 30 receiving yards.

Taft has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. Garner and Taft will host Chatsworth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Jayden Williams Rounds Out Top Five

Rounding off our Top Five is Jayden Williams of El Camino Real. Williams picked up 110 receiving yards and a touchdown. He was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 64 yards.

El Camino Real's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. Williams and El Camino Real will stay at home for another week and welcome Granada Hills Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
