There's no place like home for Richfield, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They blew past the Columbia Heights Hylanders 76-31 on Friday. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Desirai Chappell, who went 9 of 14 to rack up 22 points along with five assists and five rebounds. What's more, she also posted a 64% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's posted since back in December of 2024. Aniiya Johnson was another key player, going 5 for 9 en route to 14 points and four steals.

Richfield smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 22 consecutive games dating back to last season.

Richfield's record is now 15-6. As for Columbia Heights, they dropped their record down to 6-15 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Richfield will head out to challenge Kennedy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Columbia Heights, they will host Fridley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Columbia Heights is facing Fridley at the right time seeing as Fridley is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
