Baseball Game Preview: Scotts Hill Lions vs. Madison Mustangs

For the second straight game, Scotts Hill will face off against Madison. The Lions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mustangs at 6:40 p.m. on Tuesday.

Scotts Hill will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Saturday, then bounced right back against Madison on Monday. The Lions put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 15-5 win. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Lions' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Cy Maness was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Beecham, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.

Madison is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-11-1. As for Scotts Hill, their victory bumped their record up to 7-14-1.
