Gulliver Prep and Ransom Everglades are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2019, but not for long. Gulliver Prep will host Ransom Everglades at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

Gulliver Prep is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Raiders, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Meanwhile, Ransom Everglades got the win against Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.

Ransom Everglades' win came from a few key players Gulliver Prep will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Lola Picchetti, who had 15 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Abigail Zichella, who had 12 kills, five digs, and two aces.

Ransom Everglades' win bumped their record up to 10-15. As for Gulliver Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 18-7.

Gulliver Prep was able to grind out a solid win over Ransom Everglades in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 3-1. Does Gulliver Prep have another victory up their sleeve, or will Ransom Everglades turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
