Soccer Game Preview: Eagle Valley vs. Middle Park

The Eagle Valley Devils will head out to challenge the Middle Park Panthers at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Eagle Valley is likely headed into the match with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Delta on Thursday. The Devils took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. While losing is never fun, Eagle Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 122nd, while Delta are ranked 13th).

Meanwhile, Middle Park kept a clean sheet against Alameda on Friday. They blew past the Pirates 5-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for Middle Park.

They hit Alameda with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Aylin Rios (2), Addyson Salyards, Rilee Ludnwig, and Macey Childers.

Eagle Valley has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5-2 record this season. As for Middle Park, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
