Basketball Recap: Nickerson Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Nickerson can now relate to. They were outmatched by the Colby Eagles and fell 69-18. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured 17 losses in a row.

Nickerson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Colby, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 19-2.

Nickerson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Colby, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Russell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Colby is on a three-game streak of home wins, Russell a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
