Volleyball Recap: Christopher Falls Short of Burlingame in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Christopher can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Burlingame Panthers on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cougars have suffered since April 15th.

While Christopher was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22, 25-19.

With the defeat, Christopher broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 22-10. As for Burlingame, they have been performing well recently as they've won 14 of their last 17 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-7 record this season.

Christopher does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Burlingame, they will head out on the road to take on Harbor at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pirates will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
