Custer put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Newell Irrigators. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 last Saturday.

Custer never let Newell on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 26-24, 25-18.

Custer's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Newell, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Coming up, Custer will head out to face off against Sturgis Brown at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Newell, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Oelrichs at 5:00 p.m.
