Basketball Recap: St. Joseph Falls to Waterford in First Game of Season

St. Joseph had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 40-28 to the Waterford Ravens. The Jayhawks have struggled against the Ravens recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Waterford's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Camden Judd, who posted 12 points and six steals. Those 12 points gave Judd a new career-high. Solomon Foster was another key player, putting up five points.

Coincidentally, St. Joseph and Waterford will both be playing Salt Lake Academy the next time they take the court. The Ravens will host the Griffins at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Jayhawks will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
