Amherst had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 42-14 victory over the Lancaster Flying Arrows. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won seven contests by 22 points or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Amherst and bumps their season record up to 9-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 49.0 points over those games. As for Lancaster, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

Coming up, Amherst will be playing in front of their home fans against Brillion at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions' defense has only allowed 10.9 points per game this season, so the Falcons' offense will have their work cut out for them. Lancaster does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
