Volleyball Recap: Clovis West Comes Up Short

Clovis West lost against Central back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Golden Eagles fell 3-1 to the Grizzlies. The Golden Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured seven losses in a row.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Central scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21, 23-25, 25-21.

Clovis West's loss dropped their record down to 8-19. As for Central, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 17-10.

Clovis West and Central will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Golden Eagles see the court they'll take on Clovis East at 6:30 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Central, their break will end when they face Buchanan at 6:30 p.m. on the 22nd.
