Baseball Recap: Coleman's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Six

While Coleman didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-12), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hennessey Eagles on Friday, sneaking past 7-6. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Silas Walters was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Noah Blue, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Coleman pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Hennessey, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Looking ahead, Coleman will venture away from home to take on Chisholm at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hennessey, they will host Hydro-Eakly at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
