Basketball Recap: Central Decatur Takes a Loss

After flying high against Lenox last Friday, Central Decatur came back down to earth. The Central Decatur Cardinals took a blow against the Southeast Warren Warhawks on Tuesday, falling 62-32. The loss continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Warhawks: they've now lost four in a row.

Central Decatur's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Southeast Warren, their win bumped their record up to 14-2.

Central Decatur is taking a road trip to take on East Union at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Southeast Warren, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Nodaway Valley at 7:30 p.m. Southeast Warren knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matchups -- so hopefully Nodaway Valley likes a good challenge.
