Basketball Game Preview: Grant Generals vs. Mustang Broncos

The Grant Generals will face off against the Mustang Broncos at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Friday, Grant took a blow against Deer Creek, falling 74-45. While losing is never fun, the Generals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 310th, while the Antlers are ranked 88th).

Meanwhile, Mustang took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 66-29 win over Putnam City. The Broncos have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Mustang's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 36.2 points. As for Grant, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.

Grant was taken down by Mustang 86-9 in their previous matchup back in January. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Grant was down 60-7.
